Congratulations to this week’s Portrait of a Baron Students of the Week for exemplifying the skill of empathy! ’Tis the season for kindness, understanding, and sharing in the feelings and experiences of others, and these students truly shined in demonstrating this important skill. We are incredibly proud of your efforts and encourage you to continue leading with compassion. This week’s winners are: Carter Cole, Zoey Phillips, Nora Lamm, Killian Leatherman, Hazel Yant, Rayelle Wetzel, Isaac Haber, and Gio Brown!

Welcome to the final week of semester one before we head into Christmas break. This week will be filled with fun, celebration, and festive school spirit.

On Monday, the Robotics Team will practice after school until 3:25.

On Tuesday, the grade earning the highest number of Positive Office Referrals this quarter will celebrate with a special reward trip to the YMCA.

On Wednesday, our K–2 students will perform Crazy Christmas! at our annual Christmas Program, with showings at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Doors 1 and 9 will open 30 minutes prior to each performance.

On Thursday, students will enjoy the second annual Staff vs. Students Olympic Games, where the winning class of the Junior Achievement Jar Wars fundraiser will compete against MCK staff in a variety of spirited, silly, and high-energy challenges.

Finally, on Friday, classrooms will wrap up the week with their festive holiday parties and celebrations.

As a friendly reminder, classes will resume after Christmas Break on Monday, January 5th.
